Grant of licence

Subject to the terms of use and this licence, BryteLabs and Nestamedia Studios grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:

• Install and use the free OnionSkin Chrome extension for your own work
• If you purchase the folio, use the paid features associated with your valid licence key on devices signed into your Chrome profile(s), within normal personal / internal business use

What you may do with sheets

Sheets and exports you create with OnionSkin are yours to keep and use in your projects. That doesn’t give you rights in third-party websites you traced, or in OnionSkin’s own branding and code.

What you may not do

• Copy, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the extension or folio as a competing product
• Share, sell, or publicly post licence keys
• Remove proprietary notices from the software
• Circumvent licence checks, trial limits, or access controls (except where local law expressly allows interoperability testing)
• Use OnionSkin to provide a hosted “tracing as a service” to third parties without our OK

Open-source and third-party pieces

If parts of OnionSkin include open-source components, those components remain under their own licences. Nothing here narrows rights you already have under those licences.

Website content

Text, graphics, and design of OnionSkin are protected. You may link to the site; you may not scrape or republish substantial parts of it as your own marketing without permission.

Termination

This licence ends if you breach it or the terms of use. On termination, stop using paid features and delete unauthorised copies of the software. Sections that should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) continue to apply.

No warranty

The software is licensed “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. See the terms of use for liability limits.
